Abu Dhabi Customs, together with the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (QCC), the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center (ADPHC), Masdar City, and Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar), celebrated UAE Flag Day, which falls annually on November 3. The joint ceremony took place in front of Abu Dhabi Customs’ headquarters in Masdar City.

At exactly 11:00 a.m., H.E. Rashed Lahej Al Mansoori, Director General of Abu Dhabi Customs, raised the UAE flag as the national anthem played. He was joined by H.E. Dr. Rashid Alsuwaidi, Director General of ADPHC; H.E. Fahad Gharib Al Shamsi, Acting Secretary-General of QCC; Mr. Ahmed Baghoum, CEO of Masdar City; and Mr. Abdulaziz Alobaidli, Chief Operating Officer at Masdar. The ceremony was also attended by several executive directors, department directors, section heads, and employees.

The celebration reflected a deep sense of pride and unity under the UAE flag, a symbol of the nation’s solidarity, strength, and shared identity. It also underscored the participants’ appreciation of this cherished national occasion, which embodies loyalty and belonging to the homeland and its leadership.

The flag-raising ceremony was held in response to the call of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, who invited all citizens, residents, and institutions across the UAE to raise the flag in celebration of unity and national cohesion.

On this proud occasion, the participating entities extended their warmest congratulations and blessings to the UAE’s wise leadership, government, citizens, and residents, praying for the nation’s continued security, prosperity, and progress, and for its sustained leadership and innovation on the global stage.
