The General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs celebrated International Workers' Day, which falls on the 1st of May every year, by distributing cold drinks to workers at construction sites in Masdar City, as part of the "Cool Your Summer" initiative, which aims to promote community solidarity and building connections with the worker community, as well as appreciating the vital role workers play in driving sustainable economic development through their dedicated efforts and achievements.
Abu Dhabi Customs' celebration of workers on their international day comes within the scope of its corporate social responsibility and promotes the values of volunteering and teamwork through the participation of employees in various local and international occasions. It also aims to reinforce the values of Emirati society, which are rooted in solidarity, preserving human dignity and respect, and instilling a sense of affection, love, and cohesion among individuals.
