The General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs is participating in KEZAD Forum 2026, taking place at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi on 12 and 13 October, as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships with the business community, explore opportunities for growth and expansion, and support Abu Dhabi’s economic objectives of diversifying the economy, enhancing the competitiveness of key sectors and reinforcing the Emirate’s position as a global hub for trade and investment.

At the forum, Abu Dhabi Customs is showcasing its portfolio of customs services and smart solutions, which use advanced digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) to simplify customs procedures and accelerate transaction processing. These include generative AI-powered solutions that streamline the preparation of customs declarations, reducing the time required to complete the necessary data fields in the system from approximately five to seven minutes to just 38 seconds. This helps businesses save time and costs, improve operational efficiency and facilitate the movement of shipments through border crossings.

The services on display include customs profile creation, enabling customers both within and outside the UAE to establish a customs profile and obtain a Customs Registration Number. Abu Dhabi Customs is also highlighting services and facilitations supporting trade operations in free zones, alongside its Golden List initiative, launched in collaboration with strategic partners to recognise trusted companies across key economic sectors and strengthen integration within Abu Dhabi’s trade and logistics ecosystem.

As part of its commitment to improving the customer experience, Abu Dhabi Customs achieved a customer satisfaction score of 95.6% between January and September 2026, alongside scores of 96% for customer effort and 96% for service quality. These results reflect its continued efforts to enhance service delivery, improve accessibility and respond to the needs of customers and the wider business community.

Abu Dhabi Customs’ participation in the forum reinforces its role in supporting the Emirate’s economic growth by developing an integrated and agile customs ecosystem, improving supply chain efficiency and enabling businesses to capitalise on trade and investment opportunities. These efforts align with Abu Dhabi’s ambitions to build a more diversified, sustainable and competitive economy.
