On the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi Economic Delegation’s visit to Singapore, His Excellency Rashed Lahej Al Mansoori, Director General of Abu Dhabi Customs, visited Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), where he met with Ms. Lay Lin Tan, Director of the International Trade Cluster, along with members of the ministry’s Digital Economy team.
Both parties discussed opportunities for cooperation in shaping the future of digital trade facilitation. They exchanged insights on emerging models of cross-border digital trade and the supporting regulatory frameworks, and discussed the importance of trusted systems that enhance the speed and efficiency of the movement of goods and information.
