Abu Dhabi Customs participated in the “Multaqa Al Tujjar: Private Sector Leaders & Decision Makers Forum”, hosted by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre. The forum was held in the presence of H.E. Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and H.E. Rashed Lahej Al Mansoori, Director General of Abu Dhabi Customs, alongside senior government officials and prominent representatives from the private sector and wider business community.

The forum seeks to strengthen alignment between the public and private sectors while addressing national economic priorities. It supports the advancement of a shared economic agenda, enhances the business environment, and contributes to sustainable growth across the emirate of Abu Dhabi.

It builds on a series of high-level meetings held in recent weeks, bringing together government entities and business leaders to address market stability and supply chain challenges amid evolving global conditions. These discussions have reinforced preparedness and supported a coordinated response to emerging requirements.

Abu Dhabi Customs’ participation underscores its commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships and fostering a competitive, resilient, and sustainable economic environment by providing practical solutions that support business continuity, enhance supply chain resilience, and address operational challenges.

As part of the forum, Mr. Abdullah Helal Al Muhairi, Director of Khalifa Port Customs Centre, took part in the opening panel, “Delivering for Business: Live Policy & Initiative Announcements”. During the session, he highlighted Abu Dhabi Customs’ role in advancing the emirate’s economic vision, its contribution to the effective management of the logistics ecosystem, and its ongoing efforts to implement flexible customs procedures that ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods while strengthening supply chain resilience and operational efficiency.
