As part of its efforts to promote social solidarity and humanitarian values during the holy month of Ramadan, Abu Dhabi Customs has launched the “Ramadan Mir” initiative to support underprivileged families across the country.

The initiative involved collecting shopping vouchers through contributions from employees across various customs centers. These vouchers were then handed over to the Emirates Red Crescent, which is responsible for distributing them to beneficiaries, helping meet their essential needs during the holy month.

A total of 53 families benefited from the initiative, reflecting the spirit of cooperation and humanitarian commitment demonstrated by Abu Dhabi Customs employees, as well as their dedication to creating a positive and sustainable impact within the community, particularly during seasons that embody the values of generosity and giving.

This initiative is part of a series of community programs implemented by Abu Dhabi Customs, reaffirming its commitment to social responsibility and its active role in supporting humanitarian initiatives that enhance quality of life and assist the most vulnerable groups, in line with the nation’s vision of fostering a culture of volunteerism and social solidarity.
