The General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs received a delegation from the Department of Port & Customs, Ajman headed by Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director of Business Development, with the aim of learning about the best customs practices in Abu Dhabi and discussing ways to enhance cooperation and exchange of expertise between the two sides.

The General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs received a delegation from the Department of Port & Customs, Ajman headed by Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director of Business Development, with the aim of learning about the best customs practices in Abu Dhabi and discussing ways to enhance cooperation and exchange of expertise between the two sides.

The visiting delegation, welcomed by Mr. Fahed Gareeb Al Shamsi, Executive Director of Support Services Sector, was briefed on Abu Dhabi Customs' strategic transformation journey, its exceptional experience in developing innovative services, as well as its pioneering efforts in establishing an empowered digital institutional environment that contributes to enhancing security, facilitating trade, and providing excellent services. This further strengthens the prestigious position of Abu Dhabi as a global destination for investment and business practices.

The delegation also learned about the major achievements and international and regional awards of Abu Dhabi Customs, as well as its excellence rates in government indicators. In addition, they were introduced to the latest implemented projects supported by artificial intelligence and advanced technology that serve various customs sectors, enhance customer satisfaction, and raise their level of satisfaction with smooth, fast, and efficient services.

The visit of Ajman’s Department of Port & Customs to Abu Dhabi Customs comes within the framework of enhancing cooperation and exchanging expertise, with Abu Dhabi Customs keen on transferring its experience and expertise in customs development to various local authorities, institutions, and entities, contributing to supporting economic growth and enhancing the position of the United Arab Emirates in global competitiveness indicators.
