Abu Dhabi Customs has received international recognition by winning eight prestigious awards at the 2025 Harvard Business Council International Awards, in acknowledgement of its excellence in adopting global best practices and delivering cutting-edge digital services aligned with the highest standards of quality and institutional excellence. The awards were announced during a ceremony recently held in London, United Kingdom.
In detail, Abu Dhabi Customs was honoured with three Diamond Awards, including the Customer Care Award, having achieved a 95% customer satisfaction rate. This award highlights the organisation’s success in delivering seamless, integrated digital services and smart platforms, such as TradeChain that have reduced time, effort, and cost while enabling a fully integrated business environment.
It also received the Information Technology Award for its DigiNext 2024–2028 strategy, recognised as a leading model for sustainable smart transformation. In addition, the Executives Award in the Strategic Innovation and Transformation category was awarded in recognition of executive-level leadership and innovation.
Five Gold Awards were also presented to Abu Dhabi Customs. These included the Artificial Intelligence Award, recognising the Data Hub and Future Reporting Advancement “DHAFRA” project, which leverages AI for data governance and management; and the Business Partnerships Award, for fostering robust public-private cooperation through agile governance and digital integration.
The organisation was also recognised with the Project Award for its Elite SOC Implementation, a next-generation operational security system that marks a major leap in cybersecurity. Additional accolades included a second Executives Award in the Information Technology category and the Women Leader Award.
This prestigious international recognition reaffirms Abu Dhabi Customs’ commitment to an integrated developmental approach rooted in continuous improvement and institutional excellence.
